They are a perfect blend of old and new, featuring attractive country furnishings, tasteful modern conveniences and comfortable beds. The two conjoined old weatherboard cottages were originally built as a farmhouse for a hops and small fruit farm, later becoming a shop that only ceased trading in about 1950. Circa 1890, the accommodation is in the small hamlet of ellendale. Sit on the back veranda and enjoy the perfumed gardens, or have an alfresco breakfast in the sun.
